Back Home

Well I made it back from Florida Friday morning around 1 am.
I still recovering from the trip so this post will be kinda short.
I meet some interesting people on the way down and while I was there.
Plus I got to ride with some old friends which was great.
I also met up with an old girl friend and got to spend some time with her.
She still looks great and it was fantastic to be able to sit down and talk to her.
We talked for hours and it was the first time I’ve been able to do that since my wife died
6 years ago.

Another great part of the trip was the different places I stayed and rode while in Florida.
I’ve been down to visit my daughter about 5 times since 2001 but every trip was to Orlando and I was starting to picture Florida in my mind as Orlando. This trip I was more in the country and small towns and it put things back into a more proper perspective of what Florida is all about.
I liked it so much that I may have to move back there again.
At the least I sure will be riding down to visit a lot more.

I’ll get into more details starting tomorrow about the ride down, the time I soent there and the wet ride back.
