Well it’s that time of year again when Americade comes to Lake George NY.
I’ve tried going the last two years, but ran into the same problem both times.
It was nice riding weather so when I got to Lake George I just kept riding.
I guess I’m funny like that.
I would rather ride my motorcycle then go somewhere and look at someone else’s motorcycle.

A new twist this year is on the Northway.
Under the disguise of preventing motorcycle accidents, the State Police are setting up a motorcycle check point at the Queensbury rest area. How this will prevent accidents is way beyond my thinking.
What it will do is give the Troopers the opportunity to hand out tickets for things like loud pipes, no inspection or no MC license.
So if you’re going to Americade in Lake George, take route 9 instead.

So this has got to be the 6th reincarnation of this site that I can remember.
Figured I’d go a different route this time and just make it about nothing.
No marketing, no ebay, and no adsense.
Just what ever I feel like saying.

I will be talking alot about my motorcycle and some of the rides I’ve taken or will take.
At the moment I’m planning an August trip to Fl. Figure it will end up being over 4,000 round trip including the riding I’ll do when I’m there.

I’ll be rejetting my carb. pretty soon also.
I’m on a quest to get 50 mpg. on that bike.
It’s an 05 Yamaha RoadStar by the way.
It’s got a 102 cu. in. motor and when I bought it new it only got 32 mpg.
I’m up to around 45 mpg now with 12,000+ miles on the bike and I think adding the new air box and rejetting will get me to the 50 mark.
